Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi says he is sorry to see the club's supporters at present.

The Ablion are going through a miserable run of results in the past few weeks.

Despite a historic season that has seen them take part in European knockout ties, Brighton are now adrift in the Premier League.

After a 3-0 loss to Bournemouth, Albion boss De Zerbi said: Sometimes I read our city internet and the newspaper and you spoke a lot about my press conference after the Roma game.

"Yes, it is part of myself.

"But it is another part of myself still to be honest.

"I am sorry for our fans, especially when we lost the game in a bad way because they don't deserve these games.

I can give my word about the attitude of my players.

It sometimes can happen to play not good, to lose the game in this way.

But we would like to make our fans happy in every game, for sure, and our club as well."
